Erik Ten Hag praised Manchester United’s “dominating” performance against Chelsea but said the situation surrounding his side has never felt like a crisis this season.

United took points from a top-half opponent for the first time this season with a deserved 2-1 win over Chelsea at Old Trafford, having endured days of reports of dressing-room disharmony on the back of Saturday’s poor defeat at Newcastle.

Ten Hag dropped Marcus Rashford for the visit of Chelsea in a bold move but was rewarded with a performance of endeavour and spirit from his side, who could easily have won by more.

  1. What’s annoying about the media is the hypocrisy. The things they use to praise Sir Alex for are the things they’re using against ETH as far as discipline goes. United needs that sort of structure and not let the players run the club like they have been. I don’t care how much money you make the manager is still the manager and should be treated with respect.

  2. Garnacho, new midfielder & new striker were looked very good. Mctominey although 2 goals fluffed other chances and should have been passing to striker more. Again this is a team that plays for each other at the expense of new players who thye tend not to pass ball too, Hoping their other pals on the bench will be introduced. I hope never again to see Rashford or Sancho in united jersey. Ten Hag has been playing the british nanny long enough with these punk players. Get rid of the dead weight.
I waas saying this 2 years ago. Garnacho should have been started 2 years ago and Rashford and Sacho let go on a free transfer 2 yrs ago.

  3. Manchester united is in More trouble than Chelsea according to these pundits…
Why don't they talk about Chelsea spending a billion, not playing any European competition and yet they are shite.

Why don't they talk about that enough?

    Always Man United

  4. Biased media described Man United as broken club for a decade

Last 5 year this broken club finished above best club in the world Liverpool twice

    So why aren’t Klopp fired?

Now Man United is 3 points off Man City, again best ever Man City team

Still these pundits still criticising Man United, why?

Simple, they are dominated by Man United in whole career, they just got one opportunity now, is to talk

  5. This imo was nothing to celebrate over, chelsea played so poorly that any team in the prem could beat them. Not to mention their absolute appalling passes, they passed so poorly they gave united the goal. Chelsea was just all over the place, sure they scored 1 but that doesn't make up for a horrific performance.

  6. Also Sky News “Having lost one and drawn three of their last 4 games, Pep guadiola has been rumoured to have lost half the players support. Sources say that Foden punched the manager in the dressing room “ fake news unprofessional journalism!!

  7. Level on points with Spurs , three points behind City , ahead of Chelsea and Newcastle yet Sky Sports put all the attention on United , yes they are not playing well but maybe spread the doom and gloom with the other teams .

  8. Ten hag is playing 7 players who were in the second team last season…dalot, lindelof ,mctominay, garnacho , Anthony, Maguire….and somehow is still 3 points from the top four in his second season….city suffered a red card of Rodrigo and they lost all matches….. give Ten Hag alot of credit….if we sack him we ain't getting a better manager than he is trust me

  9. 03:35 This is how media brain washes people, why is Martial bottom of the list? Alpabetically Rashford should be bottom of the list, this is how the media paint images in the viewers mind. Not saying Martial is God's gift to football but he is a much better footballer than Rashford.
