Uganda ratifies IGAD Free Trade Area Protocol

Joining Sudan, South Sudan, Somalia, and Ethiopia, Uganda’s move facilitates the movement of people and goods across the region. Dr. Workneh Gebeyehu, IGAD Executive Secretary, anticipates increased regional trade volume and improved access to basic services as key benefits of this move.
