South Africa: Rise of the Black Middle Class

South Africa is celebrating 20 years of democracy this year. Up until 1994, millions of black people in the country were subjected to economic oppression and no freedom of movement. However the dawn of democracy has seen vast change in the country and the emergence of a black middle class population, which is starting to show significant growth. Sumitra Nydoo reports.
