  1. Pep doesn't need Haaland to beat Liverpool. I mean, Liverpool can win with or without Haaland in Citys team but if I was Pep, I'd have Haaland on the bench. No need to start him and risk aggregating his ankle injury. He needs to be on an extended rest and recovery. Alvarez will be fine to lead the line and could even get a goal. He's good enough to score against anybody. I'm not a Manchester City or a Liverpool fan, but I want what's best for Haaland so that he can compete with Mbappé at his very best for the rest of this decade and I hope he gets benched at most or gets additional rest and recovery time and then possibly make the bench for the champions league game or the following league game. I do think he'll start though. He has a very high chance of playing the game as a starter. Pep will not think this through and he'll just put him in the starting line up. Even if Haaland says he's good to go and the medical staff to, doesn't mean he is good to go. There's a reason he suffered a second ankle injury. Because he wasn't given enough time to rest and recover and was brought back into the starting lineup, fairly quickly

  2. Haaland was not injured pep cmon, it’s no coincidence that haaland was ‘injured’ during the international games that didn’t matter to Norway as they already couldnt advanced through qualification. Sneaky tactics to keep your star man fresh for the big gam after the international break🤣
