Graham Potter high on Manchester United shortlist if Sir Jim Ratcliffe chooses to sack Erik ten Hag

► Subscribe to Sky Sports News:

Graham Potter is expected to be high on Manchester United’s shortlist of managerial candidates once INEOS are running football operations – if they decide to part company with Erik ten Hag.

However, it is clear the current hierarchy at Old Trafford have no plans to change manager and there has been no approach – even loosely – to any potential successor.

The story was first reported by The Sun and Sky Sports News understands Potter will be considered for the top job at United by the incoming INEOS executives if results do not improve.

  1. I'm a Man U fan. Please don't. I'd rather have Big Sam. At least he can keep us up and not get relegated… If it happens, I will have to jump ship and support Man City or Liverpool… Look how useless Nice is

  2. Graham potter wtf we all seen what happened in Chelsea lol this is pointless and pathetic and isn’t going to change anything at Manchester United just make us an even bigger laughing stock graham potter only done well because the team he was managing was over performing their usual achievements and when he went to a big team he was sacked within 3 months

  3. We need a zidane or a conte or a simeone who play at the highest level and expect the same level of standards from the players not say we are improving every week even though we lose what are we improving on exactly was it the fact we played better than last week that’s not what it is here in old Trafford we it’s going out run your heart out and never give up and play with a passion everything the players of today don’t have look at the footballers like Steve Bruce not even close to their wages and he won us the league the passion of playing football and willing to do and try his best for his team mates and you guys play and get paid 100k plus wages a week and can’t win a game

  4. These guys are 3-6 points behind city but you call that a bad start? I mean absolutely 🐂 none of these guys have coached or won a premier league but here speaking about Ten Hag leaving you aren’t judged on 3 games take all those games he managed and look at the statistics

  5. Am ugandan , united is my club , i watch skysports for news concerning my club but …am totally confused .
When i hear abt Graham Potter ,am like well wats really going on 🙆‍♀️

  6. Plus I think the agenda driven media correspondent's are going to be set upon too. Wind your necks in girls and boys as you may just end up on the wrong side of the biggest fan base in the world. I'd be very nervous exiting the office each evening

  7. ETH is a good manager but bad signings and injuries are unforgiving, Brendon Rodgers is a good option, played the most attacking football at Liverpool, beat CL Chelsea with leister city in FA final beater then ETG achievement in EFL.

  8. Onana mistakes cost Man Utd champion league qualification. Garnacho & Anthony playing for themselves. Players are not passing the ball to Hojlund. A dozen injuries. All that ETH fault!? Give him time at least until the injured players come back.

  9. Sack ten hag that useless manager. He is making one of the worst time Manchester United ever had in the last 80 years. So far with him It’s getting worse and not better.
    Please bring potter in
