  1. Not if Gabriel Jesus can do good hold-up play and aerial duels as he did to architect Arsenal's goals when playing against Wolves. If he gets injured again, better sign a strong CF with excellent hold-up play ability

  2. English commentary is soo archaic sometimes- it's embarrassing. G Jesus plays as a FALSE NINE therefore he inverts and drops deeper so by the very nature of the position he won't get as many goals as a traditional nine. IF Martinelli, Saka, Trossard and Odegaard all score more goals because of this role then the tactic works!!

  3. The over-sensationalization of what we as Arsenal do. Any other team gets praise for seeing it out but this guy waxes lyrical bout nonsense. It's embarrassing to watch these people

  4. But for a single goof by an otherwise excellent Zinchenko, and the width of a post on two occasions, this could have been 3 or 4 nil. This was a very comfortable win against a fairly good Wolves team. You can see the media praying for us to fail with the way they cover our games. The difference this year compared to last is simple and its Declan Rice. He is an absolute game changer. It reminds me of the Patrick Vieira era where when you saw him walk out onto the pitch you had that feeling that we started the game 1-0 up.

  5. Just play Jesus for 60 mins every game. No need to leave him on for 80/90 unless we are losing by a goal. Jesus needs abit of wrapping up in cotton wool unless we plan on buying Watkins or Toney come Jan.

  6. I mean what team couldnt do with an Osimhen or a Toney in the squad- it would be great…..but this lazy analysis that they would fit straight into the 1st Xi, they would immediately oust Jesus and make Arsenal infinitely better and score 30 goals a season is a bit boring.
Ok Jesus isnt always fit and thats a factor…but when hes fit- how underappreciated is his all-round game, and how amazing his team-play is both offensively and defensively and how he makes others around him shine.
If Jesus, Saka and Martinelli stay fit for most games this season, Arsenal win the league….new striker or no new striker imo

  7. We obviously should try to improve the striker position IF we find a more prolific option than Jesus/Eddie that can fit into our tactical model but let's be clear, we lost the title last season because we weren't good enough defensively in the title run-in.
That's why we brought in Raya, Rice, and Timber, and given the persistent injuries to Partey and Timber's long term injury, we probably will look to strengthen in those areas before looking to sign a striker.

  8. Ridiculous commentary. Why pay for these pundits when there are YouTubers who know more.
Arsenal have only scored one fewer goals than this time last season. And last season was the highest number of goals Arsenal have EVER scored.

  9. Ivan Toney would be perfect for Arsenal. Jesus is the small skillful player. Toney would be the big, strong player who be played when the game will be physical and Arsenal could do more crosses. So many times Arsenal kick it long and they just lose the ball. With Toney they would have someone who could win more aerial duels. Teams sit back against Arsenal a lot more this season so more crosses would offer another solution to that. Toney would be massive upgrade on Nketiah as well. If Toney can get a decent amount of goals for Brentford just imagine what he could do with Saka, Odegaard and Martinelli around him.

  10. We need a target man. Vlahovic would be perfect imo. Osihmen would be almost double the price and Toney is 27, surround in controversy and only has two seasons in the top flight. Based on Brentford’s asking price I’d stay clear of him. Vlahovic is tall and a proper target man. Get him and rotate the team on a continuous bases with Jesus and Trossard playing on the wings or as a 10 to rest or cover Odegaard/Saka/Martinelli so they don’t burn out.

  11. 100% need a striker. Stylistically, arsenal need something similar to the starting front 3. Jesus isn’t a natural goal scorer, Martinelli way out of form in the box and saka being marked out of most games.
