  1. I have heard about these famous Turkish Massages. That they are firm, and strong. But surely the Physiotherapists should wait until the staff and players leave the field of play prior to administering them. …..

  2. I was thinking that maybe they should also address how terrible a lot of these referees are. I don’t agree punching him unfairly but I understand it. Given the performance of the referee he should have challenged him to a match in the ring and maybe see if association wants to address referees who make idiotic impacts on games.

  3. There are a lot of similar incidents in grassroots football. Maybe not on the level of assault but refs being intimidated. Example should be made to the owner. And UEFA and FIFA need to get all FA to start coming down stronger on all associated to the sport. As a coach for an U11 teams more has to be done especially to protect Refs. Most of the lads reffing our games are at the ages between 14-19 and they just get destroyed from players, coach’s and parents. I have seen managers scream at 14 Y/O kids simply because they didn’t get a decision. We have had 5 penalties conceded this year. And 2 were never penalties. But after every game no matter if I thought they done bad calls. I say well done ref good game. And will make sure the team shakes their hand after every game. As they are important to the sport. And without them we don’t have a game. I am not perfect and with the young lads a bit more switched on and will not slip. The old boys occasionally get a sarcastic really with a slip of the tongue. But will always apologise straight away. As they can only give what they see. As we don’t want to drive refs out the game. And all we have to give them is a bit of respect.

  4. president who kicked this is a former member of parliament. He is also Erdoğan's man. Are we surprised? No. He has now been arrested and his presidency is over. this incident is a disgrace

  6. The club was only fined £50,000 with no points deductions or suspension. Their president is an MP in Erdoğan's ruling party in Turkey so obvious political corruption there.
